This beautiful nursing chair has featured in many bits of press, exhibitions and loans to boutiques. Originally made as a show piece this Ruth Cross nursing chair has a hand knitted lambswool loose cover (with horn button fastening) which is stretched over a restored vintage chair. This chair has now been sold, however we can make/ adapt upholstered furniture to order, please contact the studio for details.

This is the most recent piece of 'knit furniture' that we have made, a restored and re-upholstered chaise longue. Now sold this had incredible knitted details which were then felted before being added to the piece. Please contact the studio if you are interested in our next projects for furniture.

Restored vintage dressing stool with hand-knitted loose seat cover. this was made in the Ruth Cross studio and is a one off piece- it cannot be bought elsewhere. The frame is black gloss wood with a padded seat and lambswool cover, it is a truly striking yet functional object which would fit well in both contemporary and traditional settings.
